to know when they book with us.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What is check in/check out time?
A. Check-in time begins at 3:00 pm. Check-out time is at 11:00 am. This may be extended for an additional fee.
Office hours are Mon-Sun 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. If checking in after office hours or if needing an earlier arrival time please call the office (706)-663-2211

Q. What is the minimum age requirement to rent a Chalet?
A. You must be 25 years of age with a valid ID to rent and check into a Chalet.

Q. Is my ID/passport required at check in?
A. Yes. We require presentation of valid government-issued identification at the time of check-in.

Q. What forms of payment are accepted to reserve my Chalet?
A. MasterCard, Visa, and American Express credit cards are accepted to reserve your Chalet. Checks are not accepted as a form of payment.

Q. Is there a requirement to reserve a Chalet?
A. Yes. A deposit from a valid credit card is required at the time of your reservation.

Q. Can I cancel, transfer or downsize my reservation?
A. A 14-day advanced notification is required for the cancellation, down-sizing or transferring of an existing reservation for a one, two, or three bedroom Chalet rentals. A 30-day notice is required for any 4, 5, 6 or 8 bedroom Chalet rental. All changes must be made thru our office and a fee will be assessed for the specific change.

Q. What do I need to do before I check out of the Chalets?
A. Put all trash in trash containers outside of your Chalet.
A. Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on to wash.
A. Lock the Chalet door and return the key to the Chalet Office upon departure. (You may also leave the key in night box if departing after hours.)

Q. I have questions about my bill or other issues. Who do I call?
A. Most questions and issues can be resolved with the help of our front desk team. If the problem cannot be solved right then and there, our front desk team will assist with getting the appropriate departments and getting the issues fixed.

Q. What time is the Recreation Center open and closed?
A. 9 am to 10 pm

Q. Where do I check out and return recreation equipment?
A. The Chalet Office between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Q. What are the Pool Hours?
A. The pool hours are 9 am to Dusk (seasonally).

Q. When does quiet time start at the Chalets?
A. Quiet time starts within the Chalet Village at 10 pm. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

Q. Do you allow smoking in the Chalets?
A. Smoking is NOT allowed within the Chalets.

Q. Do you have Cable and Wi-Fi available?
A. All chalets have cable TV and access to wireless hotspots throughout the resort at no additional charge.

Q. Do the chalets have towels and sheets?
A. Yes, PMCC provides all the towels and sheets for each chalet.

Q. Can I exchange my dirty linen with clean during my stay at the Chalets?
A. All PMCC rental chalets are supplied with bed linens, towels, blankets, and pillows. These items are not changed during your stay, but we do provide Linen Exchange for no additional fee. The front office can exchange your linen during office hours.

Q. What is supplied in the chalet?
A. PMCC supplies your initial supply of toilet paper, a bar of hand soap, dish detergent, and trash bags. You will need to bring your own toiletries, paper products, and any additional supplies you may need (i.e.; air fresheners, cleaners, paper towels, and paper plates etc.)

Q. Can I get an extra supply of items from the front office?
A. PMCC provides your initial supply of toilet paper, soaps, detergents, and trash bags for your convenience. Please come to the Chalet Office between hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm for additional provided supplies.

Q. Is there a restaurant nearby?
A.YES Cricket’s casual dining restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and conveniently located on the resort Please call Cricket’s for more information at (706) 663-8136.

Q. Are pets allowed?
A. Yes. We have selected Chalets that are designated as Pet-friendly. Pets must be placed in a crate when you are not in your chalet and leashed when out for a walk. Maximum of two dogs are allowed. There is a $35.00 per day pet fee charge per your stay.

Q. As a guest, can I fish in the Lake in one of the flat bottom boats located on the shoreline?
A. Yes. There are flat bottom boats available around the lake for fishing purposes. The boats are used at your own risk. The boats are available on a first come, first serve basis. Guest can check out oars & life jackets within the Chalet office, between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm. We do not provide any fishing equipment or bait.

Q. Do I have to have a fishing license?
A. No fishing license is required. If you catch a fish, please use the catch and release rule. The rule states that if you catch a Bass that is 12 inches or less, please return them to the water. Fishing bait is available at the Chevron & Ace Hardware in Pine Mountain.

Q. Can I swim in the lake?
A. Swimming is not allowed in the lake.

Q. Do the Chalets have indoor fireplaces?
A. Most of the Chalets have seasonal indoor wood-burning fireplaces. (November 1st through March 31st). Guest may purchase wood bundles through PMCC for a small additional fee.

Q. Do the Chalets have outdoor fire pits?
A. No outdoor wood fires are allowed on the property.

Q. Do the Chalets have an outdoor grill?
A. The Chalets have charcoal grills for your use. Charcoal is not provided. Oil fryers are only permitted on pavement or gravel, not on the Chalets wood deck.

Q. Are fireworks allowed at the Chalets?
A. We do not allow fireworks in the Chalet Village
